This policy explains what information Sell-My.Tech (operated by RTVC LTD) collects when you use sell-my.tech, what we do with it, and the controls you have.

What we collect

• Quote-form data you submit (model, condition, your name, phone, optional email and postcode, optional photos)
• Standard server / log data when you visit (IP, user agent, timestamps)
• Cookies for site analytics, advertising and functional preferences — only with your consent

How we use it

• To provide a quote and arrange collection
• To reply to questions you send us
• To improve the site and our service (aggregated, anonymised)
• To measure the performance of our Google / Microsoft Ads campaigns (only with consent)

Legal basis

We process your quote-form data under legitimate interest (to provide the service you asked for) and, where required by law, under your consent (analytics, advertising cookies).

Sharing

We don’t sell your data. We share it only with the third parties needed to operate the service: our email provider (MailChannels), our hosting provider (Cloudflare), our analytics / advertising platforms (Google, Microsoft) when you’ve consented, and our courier when collection is arranged.

Retention

Quote-form submissions are retained for up to 24 months for support and accounting purposes, then deleted. Photos attached to quotes are deleted with the submission.

Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct or delete your information. Email hello@sell-my.tech and we’ll respond within 30 days. You can also lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
